THE REALITY

Some, if not all of young athletes have their mind only set on Division 1 schools. Our young athletes have no clue about the different levels of colleges they can play for. Statistics show about 2% of high school athletes (1 in 50) play at the Division 1 level after high school. NLAB Sports wants athletes to know they have options. There are many Division 2's & 3's as well as junior colleges where athletes can get a good education as well as enhance their athletic skills. Individuals are limiting young athletes resources, steering them astray and not exposing them to their options. According to the NCAA, “Only 2% of high school athletes are awarded some form of athletic scholarship to compete in college.” If you don’t get an athletic scholarship to play sports, this does not mean your athletic career is over.
